Ocean Serenity is a concept, not a client project. Paulo created it as inspiration for the interior design team he works with, as a way to explore a calm, coastal interior and show what a fully rendered space can look like.

The process started in SketchUp, where Paulo modeled the interior. From there he brought the model into 3D rendering software to build out the textures and materials until the space read as a photorealistic rendering instead of a digital model.

The design itself is coastal interior design at its quietest: restful, uncluttered, and built around the feeling of being close to the water.

Concept work like this is a big part of how Paulo designs. An interior design concept lets a client or design team react to a space, test ideas, and agree on a direction before anything is ordered or built. Whether it's SketchUp interior design or a fully detailed 3D interior rendering, the goal of every interior design rendering is the same: make the vision clear enough to act on.
